About Project 99

Our Story

Two decades of walking alongside New Jersey's youth and families through their most challenging moments — and their greatest breakthroughs.

Where It All Began

Project 99 was founded in 2004 with a simple idea: young people in New Jersey deserve access to mental health support that meets them where they are — not behind a desk in a clinical office, but in the homes, schools, and communities where real life happens.

What started as a small mentorship initiative has grown into a comprehensive behavioral health organization with over 145 team members serving families across nine counties. Along the way, we've supported more than 5,000 families on their journey toward greater wellbeing.

Today, we offer Intensive In-Community (IIC) therapy, Behavioral Assistance, and Mentoring services — all delivered by a diverse, passionate team that reflects the communities we serve.
